Under the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' (Service Pledge Campaign), MY Bharat (Gautam Buddha Nagar) is organizing 'Yuva Connect' programs across the district's universities and colleges. These programs aim to raise awareness among the youth about the 100-week 'Drug-Free Youth-Developed India' (Nasha Mukt Yuva—Viksit Bharat) pledge campaign launched by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Additionally, students are being informed about VBYLD 2027, various MY Bharat youth initiatives, and government welfare schemes and campaign-such as 'Vocal for Local,' voter awareness, road safety, and the 'TB-Free India' initiative.
As part of this series, a 'Yuva Connect' program was held today at Government Post Graduate College, Noida. Hon'ble Noida MLA Pankaj Singh attended as the chief guest, while Hon'ble Noida City District President Mahesh Chauhan was present as the guest of honor. They urged the youth to stay away from drugs and 'say no to drugs,' inspiring them to contribute to building a 'Developed India' through a drug-free youth force.
The event was attended by LDM Ram Vinod Kumar, Ambuj Pandey (from the TB Cell), College Principal Prof. Dr. Anita Nisha, MY Bharat Deputy Director Shivendra Singh, and NSS Program Officer Dr. Mamata Gautam, along with a large number of students. Awareness activities involving youth participation were also conducted during the program.
In the coming days, MY Bharat will organize 'Yuva Connect' programs at other institutions, including Jaypee Institute (Noida), IILM University, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, KCC Institute, and Galgotias University. 'Yuva Connect' programs have already been conducted at Mihir Bhoj College (Dadri) and Sharda University within the district. Through these programs, efforts will be made to connect the youth with a drug-free lifestyle, nation-building, participation in VBYLD 2027, and various government schemes and youth-centric initiatives.
